KNUCKLEBALL PRIME – COMING 2015
WHAT IS BLACKWING MUSIC?
Blackwing is more than just a pencil. It’s a culture; a collective of independent but like-minded people who appreciate the little things in life, like the tactile sensation of dropping a needle on vinyl, or putting pencil to paper.
Blackwing Music is a venture that seeks to shine a spotlight on musicians who deserve your attention through live performances, storytelling and album releases. For more information about Blackwing, visit Blackwing602.com.

THE STORY OF THE $40 PENCIL
The Blackwing 602 was introduced in the 1930s and was the pencil of choice for Oscar, Grammy, and Pulitzer Prize winners throughout the 20th century. After it was discontinued in the 1990s, unused stock began selling for as much as $40 a pencil. In 2010, Palomino, whose roots in the pencil industry were planted over a century ago, resurrected the Blackwing brand to critical acclaim.
